Abstract

On the base of the author's field materials, collected in the state of Georgia (USA), the article analyzes the transformations of one local Baptist church, which turned out to be a successful project of the integration of refugees into the host society. It is demonstrated how the strategy of this specific project is connected with the characteristic features of the USA religious history and religious traditions of this country and what allowed this integration project to become success.
