Ethnological Monitoring in Russia (the case of the Kostroma region)

Abstract

The article analyzes the results of ethnological monitoring in the Kostroma region over 5 years. Starting from 2014 studies in the Kostroma region have been conducted on a regular basis, using the methodology developed at the IEA RAS. The article presents the conclusions that we made based on the results of ethnological examination over this period, outlines the reasons to continue this scientific initiative, and offers recommendations on improving ethnological monitoring methods
