Sociocultural Environment as a Resource for Adaptation of Students with Migration History

The article summarizes the results of the sociological project entitled ‘The Potential of the Sociocultural Environment and Interdepartmental Cooperation for Solving Educational Problems of Adaptation of Foreign Minors and Other Categories of Children with Migration History’. In 2024 the study involved 125 teachers from 14 regions of the Russian Federation, representing schools with a significant proportion of such students. The authors aim to identify the main factors of the internal environment of Russian educational organizations that contribute to increasing the level of adaptation of foreign minors and other categories of children with migration history; to study the degree and nature of interaction between schools (teachers, class teachers, administrators, social pedagogues) and families with migration history; to identify the degree of involvement of educational organizations in interaction with ethnic, cultural and religious associations in the Russian Federation.
