CLINICAL DECISION-MAKING IN A RUSSIAN CITY: EXPERIENCE OF QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of clinical decision-making in Russian cities. It reviews factors influencing the doctor's decisions in the process of diagnostics and treatment of chronic patients. The study is based on in-depth interviews with physicians from Samara and Moscow. The role and correlation of these factors are reviewed separately for public and private health institutions, as well as outpatient and inpatient treatment.
