Abstract

Interest in Tibetan traditional medicine (TTM) can be observed today in various regions of the Russian Federation. In our country there are specialists practicing TTM. Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo visited Russia many times to pass on her knowledge to doctors. In the interview, she talks about how Tibetan medicine developed in the Tibetan AR (China), how it functions now, and whether there can be productive cross-fertilization between western medicine and traditional Tibetan medicine.
