Abstract

The text reviews the second Russian edition of the book The Healing Power of Meditation — so far rare Russian-language evidence of meditation practice being embedded in health care and wellness. The essays discuss certain philosophical basics of secular meditation, touch upon “spirituality as new religiosity” problem, describe contemplative practices in multiple professional secular groups. All of the anthology’s authors are practicing meditators, monastic or secular.
