PROBLEMS OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PATIENTS AND EMPLOYEES IN CLOSED-TYPE MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS
Abstract
The authors of the article consider scientific reports presented at the meeting of the section “Medical Anthropology in the XXI century: problems of communication between patients and staff in closed-type medical institutions”, which took place on November 15, 2021 as part of the annual Conference of Young Scientists (CMU) “Topical issues of Ethnology and Anthropology”, organized by the IEA RAS. The publication provides an overview of the reports made, describes their discussion, lists the emerging discussion topics. The review of the section is supplemented with general information about the CMU, within which the Medical Anthropology section met for the fourth time. The social and scientific importance of the problems with which medical anthropologists and representatives of related fields work is noted.
